The edition and investigation of most valuable monuments of XVI--XVII centuries -- "The Grammar-Primer" (1574) and the Astroh's "The Alphabet" (1578) of Ivan Fyodorov, "The Grammar Slovenian" (1596) of Laurencii Zizanii, "The Grammar Slovenian" (1645) of Ivan Uzhevich -- such a task has put before itself the author of the book prepared in the Yanka Kupala Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The scientific restoration and commenting of monuments, text translation to modern graphics, the allowed adaptation of the texts for modern reader are made. The book is addressed to the philologists, historians, and can be used as the manual for courses of history of the Belarusian language and literature.
