The book is written by the outstanding philosopher and sociologist known by his works far outside the country -- Academician Yevgenii Babosov. More than two dozens of monographs, set of brochures and articles published by him have grown out of fundamental research of a number of urgent problems of humanitarian knowledge: from the dynamics of social structure of a society and grounding the socially guided market economy to the development of spiritual life, formation of the person and role of culture in our life.

Representing in the monograph real, at times rather dramatic, panorama of expansion of the diverse conflicts in a modern society, including in the Belarusian one, the author is not limited to simple ascertaining that is. There are puted by him sharply and are solved with the deep scientific argumentation the urgent questions exciting many people. What and how to do when we appear in a disputed situation? Whether it is possible, and if yes, by what means to operate inter-personal, group, intergroup, international conflicts? Always whether the conflict is negative and is destructive or it is capable to carry out and positive, constructive functions? How to achieve that the creative opportunities of the conflicts have turned in prevailling, and basic tendency of social development to become a solidarity, cooperation and mutual aid of the people and social groups? Answering these and some other questions the author induces the reader to think of the put problems and to not forget that he is valid the "Homo Reasonable".

The book will be useful to the researchers, lecturers and students studying conflictology and other adjacent disciplines.
