The book represents the collection of memoirs about an outstanding biochemist and plant physiologist the Academician Tikhon Nikolayevich GODNEV (1893 -- 1982). The memoirs and impressions are presented of Godnev's relatives, pupils and co-employees. The submitted materials tells about Godnev's contribution in the development of science, his scientific-organizational activity.

The book is the first issue in the academy's series "The Men of the Belarusian Science" in which will published the collections of memoirs, documents and materials, sketches about the outstanding Belarusian scientists.
