In the dictionary, for the first time in the terminographical practice of the creation of modern Russian-Belarusian translation dictionaries are submitted enough full and systematically about 18,500 Belarusian terms and word collocations really used in the field of physical-mathematical, physico-technical and a number of adjacent sciences. The dictionary maximum precisely reflects possible for today a degree of normative regulation of these terms, meets the norms of modern Belarusian language and partly carries out also functions of other linguistic reference books (spelling, accentuating, grammatical, etc.).
Can be used by the scientists and post-graduate students (mathematicians, physicists, engineers) for finding the Belarusian equivalents of the appropriate Russian terms with a spelling of scientific works in Belarusian language, by tutors and students of natural-scientific and technical faculties of Belarusian high schools with definition of norms of a spelling, pronunciation both grammatical registration of the Russian and Belarusian mathematical, physical and technical terms, and also is of interest for all those interested by problems of a modern Belarusian scientific terminology.
