The Analytical Review is prepared by the scientists and experts of the Republic of Belarus accordingly to rules of The National Strategy and Action Plan on Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biological Diversity in the Republic of Belarus. It is intended for informing the bodies of management in various economy sectors and social spheres, and also wide public about a condition and structure of a biological variety, use of natural biological resources and about accepted measures on their preservation. Reflects base parameters for monitoring of the basic tendencies of the dynamics of a biovariety and its use, definition of efficiency of accepted measures. The data submitted in the review can be accepted for a basis with drawing up of the regular national reports of the Republic of Belarus on performance of the Convention on Biological Diversity signed in 1992 in Rio de Janeiro by more than 100 countries of the world and ratified in 1993 by the Parliament of the Republic of Belarus.
