Copper (II) and cobalt (II) hydrolysis in nitrate soludon in joint presence. pp. 8--13
Summary: Investigation of copper (II) and cobalt (II) hydrolysis in joint presence has been carried out. It has been shown that during alkaline precipitation heteronuclear hydroxide precipitate forms. Cobalt however forced out from it in three hours. It has been established that only metal aquaions are in equilibrium with precipitate in Cu (II) -- Co (II) -- NO3- -- OH- -- H2O system. There is no interaction between copper (II) and cobalt (II) in the solution and in the precipitate.

Summary: Adsorption-structural characteristics of porous ferrite and ferrite-containing adsorbents prepared by including burning-out additives and by modifying structure of iron hydroxide being one of the spinel components are studied in the paper. Ferrites possessing higher sorption capacity are shown to be produced by increasing coaese-porosity of iron hydroxide and by acting burning-out additives. Similar relationship is observed during synthesis of ferrite-containing samples by using iron hydroxide.

On formation of active phase in CO-oxidation copper zeolite-containing catalysts. pp. 48--53
Summary: The copper state was studied at different stages of CO-oxidation zeolite-containing catalyst preparation using the methods of diffuse reflection spectra, ESR, X-ray diffraction, IR-spectroscopy of adsorbed CO molecules. High activity of catalyst obtained by repeated ionic exchange was revealed to be due to scaling distribution of an active component representing a complex metal -- oxide system with Cu--Cu and Cu--O bonds in it.

Modifcation of thermoevaporated thin films of benzo [a] phenoxazine derivatives by fluorine-containing plasmas. pp. 54--60
Summary: The effect of the fluorine-containing plasmas on the chemical structure and surface properties of vacuum deposited films based on benzo[a]phenoxazine derivatives has been studied. The possibility to form different hydrophobic film surfaces and to change film surface properties in a broad range depending on the type of plasma and the initial chemical structure of the compounds under investigation was shown.

Silver halide photoemulsion microcrystal development as a conjugated redox process with nanogalvanic cell participation. pp. 60--63
Summary: It was shown that photolayer pre-development treatment by electrolyte solutions may result in a significant increase (twice and even more) of the X-ray film sensitivity to the action of ionizing radiation. This effect can be associated with the possibility of silver redistribution in the real photographic layer according to mechanism of electrochemically conjugated anodic and cathodic reactions of chemical development on silver particles forming nanogalvanic cells.

Summary: The possibility to form different complexes depending on the component ratio in a film, namely, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), copper chloride, and orthophosphoric acid, is established. It is found that with the CuCl2 concentration of 2 to 7 mol.% the composites have the property of increased molecular mobility in the region of the alpha-relaxation process and sensitivity to water vapors. The films may be recommended as electrosensitive materials with maximal polarizability in the temperature ranges of 100--120 °C and 170--180 °C that change their geometric sizes due to water vapor sorption and an applied electric field.
