Underpotential deposition of lead adatomic layers in the processes of formation of nanocomposite film structures Se--PbSe. pp. 5--8

Summary: Patterns of underpotential deposition of nanocomposite film structures on the base of amorphous Se films on the surface and in the value of which uniformly distribute quantum dimensional (Q) particles of PbSe have been investigated. Selenide particles were formed as the result of underpotential deposition of adatomic Pb layers. It have been established that on the Se/Q-PbSe electrode in compare with Se appreciably increase the affectivity of range of electrochemical processes: cathode reduction of lead ions, [Fe{CN}6]3--ions. In heterostructures of Se/Q-PbSe is observed shift of edge of own absorption in the field of greater waves length.

The effect of particle shape of the modifying hydroxide on the structure of the adsorbents obtained. pp. 9--12

Summary: The dependence of variation of large-porous aluminium hydroxide structure modified by hydroxides with needle-, pivotal and stick-shaped forms has been studied. The mechanism of the structure forming processes in the limit space of macro pores and in the voids between particle associates of modified hydroxides has been examined. The experimental results have been explained in terms of the effect of hydroxide particles associates on the dispersivity of formed crystals.

Cr3+ and Zn2+ hygroxocompleses formation in aqueous solutions. pp. 22--27

Summary: À ñî hydrolysis of the Cr3+ and Zn2+ ions is studied by dialysis, potentiometric titration and PH-metry. A scheme of the heteronuclear hydroxocomplexes {HNHC} formation is proposed and conditions of their existence are established. It is shown that thermodynamically most stable HNHC are formed in solutions with a molar ratio Cr3+: Zn2+ = 3:7. The effective activation energies of the polynuclear hydroxocomplexes {PNHC} formation are determined and kinetically advantage of the heteronuclear species Cr3+ -- Zn2+ formation as compared with two fractions of homopolymers is elicited. A correlation of effective constants of the polynuclear hydrolysis and neutralisation degree of solution from its composition is obtained and degree of influence of Zn2+ ions on Cr3+ hydrolysis is established.

Preparation of Ag-Au colloidal particles in water solutions. pp. 33--36

Summary: The conditions of forming bimetallic Ag--Au particles of different structures under electrolyse reduction of respective metal ions in an aqueous solution were specified, and the particles were characterized by the method sof optical spectroscopy and electron microscopy. It was found that on mixing individual silver and gold soles the more active metal is oxidized with time. This process is catalyzed by Ag/Au galvanic couple formation. Bimetallic Ag--Au particles produced both by the contact gold reduction on silver and by the reduction of the respective metal ions present in the solution together are those of a homogeneous alloy.

Synthesis of new 3-aryl-5-alkyl-2-isoxazolines possessing liquid crystalline properties. pp. 48--52

Summary: The synthetic approach to a new 3-aryl-5-alkyl-2-isoxazolines that possesses liquid crystalline properties is described. This method involves 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of nitrile oxide III to hept-1-ene or hex-1-ene with followed by base hydrolysis to corresponding acids VI a-b. Further etherification with various phenols gives desired compounds VII a-f with three or four cycles one of which is 2-isoxazoline ring. The mesomorphic properties of these compounds are given.

Improvements in the synthesis of L-thyroxin and methods for control of its quality. pp. 53--60

Summary: Improvements in the synthesis and an experimentally evaluated set of methods for quality control of thyroid hormone L-thyroxine have been proposed. L-tyrosine is used as an initial substance for obtaining two intermediate compounds 3,5-diiodo-L-tyrosine and 4-hydroxy-3,5-diiodopyruvic acid. Their oxidative condensation in water-acetone mixture give rise to the final product which is isolated by differential pH-dependent precipitation with an yield of 47%. L-thyroxine thus prepared contains not les then 99% of the main substance, has physical-chemical properties similar to those of a standard specimen and its structurally identical to the native hormone.

The enzyme immunoassay system for detecting antibodies to gliadins: biochemical characteristics and analytical parameters. pp. 61--67

Summary: Construction has been developed and components of enzyme immunoassay system have been obtained for coeliac disease diagnostic. Different gliadin fractions were obtained from raw material of plant origin with the using of extraction and precipitation by organic solvents and chromatographic methods. Their affinity to endogenous antibodies in serum samples were evaluated after passive adsorption of antigens onto micro plate wells using conjugates of horse reddish peroxidase with antibodies to human immunoglobulins G or A and water soluble tetramethylbenzidin as chromogen to detect gliadin-bounded human antibodies. The fractions that bound not less than 90% of antibodies from a sample were selected as components of the system. Standardisation of immunoassay system was carried out with using of the pure antibodies isolated by affinity chromatography on synthesized gliadin-sepharose from sera of patients with celiac disease. The system optimized in relation to its content and the properties of components enables to perform the whole analysis during one working day and to obtain analytical data corresponding to clinical characteristics of the disease with the variation coefficient not worse than 10%, linearity and recovery in the range of 80--120% and detection limit not higher than 50% of antibody concentration in the first calibration sample.

The model of spatial structure for the immunodominant epitope of HIV-MN Protein GP120. pp. 68--75

Summary: Molecular modelling of the spatial structure for the fragment 12--23 of the HIV-MN principal neutralizing determinant containing the virus immunodominant epitope (hexapeptide Gly--Pro--Gly--Arg--Ala--Phe) was implemented in terms of NMR spectroscopy data reported in literature and all its conformers matching both experimental data and energy criteria were determined. The ensembles of conformers which satisfy to all stereochemical requirements were collated between themselves as well as with the X-ray conformations for identical segments of synthetic peptides rpl42 and aibl42 imitating the region of virus binding with antibodies. On the basis of all data obtained, the model of three-dimensional structure for the HIV-MN immunogenic crown was built and its conformational parameters were compared with the corresponding characteristics of conformers proposed earlier for describing the structural properties of Thailaand HIV-1 neutralization site.

Chemical modification of polypyromellitimide films with olugmere resins. pp. 76--80

Summary: The paper is devoted to the chemical modification of poly-4,4'-diphenyloxidepyromellitimide with alkylphenolformaldehyde and epoxy-resins. We have found that the using of polyamidoacid compositions contained either alkylphenolfonnaldehyde or epoxy-resin allows to obtain film materials. The research demonstrates sufficient improvement of stress-strain properties and thermal stability of polypyromellitimide films contained such modifiers as alkylphenolformaldehyde or epoxy resin and considers the main factors causing the increase of these essential operational properties.

Summary: The dependence of preparation of aqueous-salt solutions of polyacrylonitrile hydrolisates on its adhesion properties has been investigated. It was determined that when a minimum alkali in hydrolysis of polyacrylonitrile fibrous is used the nature of acid using for further neutralisation not influence on adhesion property obtained hydrolisates. However, the increasing of alkali concentration caused significant increasing time setting of investigated solutions because of increasing salt concentration.

Variation of reed chemical composition under mechanical activation. pp. 111--115

Summary: With the purpose of searching for pathways of rational using of fast growing biomass the variation of reed chemical composition at intensive dispersion in the ball mill has been studied. It has been shown that when reed is used as a raw material for hydrolysis, a preliminary intensive mechanical activation relieves hydrolytic processes enhances the yield of products of hydrolysis in more soft conditions. On the contrary, one should avoid intensive dispersion when reed is used as fibre raw material.
