Summary: The process of aluminum hydroxide modification with the specimens of iron hydroxides obtained from 10-, 20- and 50% solutions of FeCl3 as well as with chromium and zirconium hydroxides has been studied. Both the characteristics of structural changes of obtained samples in dependence on the percent econtent of hydroxide-modifier and peculiarities of changing their sorption capacity and specific surface have been studied. It has been shown that the maximal modification takes place when the sorption capacity of an hydroxide-modifier is equal to that of modified hydroxide or exceeds it.

Summary: The results on synthesis of tungsten trioxide particles and their application as disperse phase in electrochemical deposition of composite - nickel material are presented. It has been shown that varying the condition of tungstic acid gel destruction (mechanical or thermal) allows the dispersed tungsten oxide particles of different sizes and crystal habit to be prepared. It has been shown that codeposition of the tungsten trioxide particles with nickel from aqueous electrolyte during electroplating improves the wearing properties of coating.

Changing thermal properties of polypyromellitimide during its chemical modification. pp. 32--35
Summary: The influence of modifiers on thermal properties of polypyromellitimide, such as initial temperature of intensive thermal oxidative destruction, temperature and completion degree of imidization of polyamidoacid composition, temperature of spatial network structure formation in specimens, temperature of residual solvent and moisture extraction from the film specimen, has been studied. The dependence of the activation energy of thermal oxidative destruction of the composition on nature and quantity of modifier has been investigated. The obtained data give us a clear understanding of the mechanism of the influence of modifying additives on composition properties and to a certain degree help to predict the main characteristics of new polymer materials, reducing material and time expenses of their development.

Molecular sorption of aliphatic a-aminoacids by monocarboxylcellulose from several binary media water -- organic non-electrolyte. pp. 36--41
Summary: The process of molecular sorption of zwitter -- ion forms of four aliphatic a-aminoacids (from glycine to leucine) by a carboxylic cation exchanger -- monocarboxylcellulose in H+ form from water -- ethanol, water -- isopropanol, and water --aceton solutions of variable composition has been studied at 293 K. It has been demonstrated that the sorption constants and the thermodynamic parameters of the aminoacids are independent on the nature of the binary water--organic solutions.

Peculiarities of molecules packing of derivatives of high fatty acids in Langmuir films. pp. 42--45
Summary: Langmuir--Blodgett (LB) monolayers of behenic acid and purified beeswax were prepared on graphite and on mica surfaces by the horizontal precipitation method. The adsorbates were studied by atomic force microscopy and the molecular structures of monolayer films were attained. The lattice parameters of molecules packing in a monolayer film of behenic acid on mica surface and in a monolayer of beeswax on graphite surface were determined. It was established that the nature of mica surface render an influence on hydrocarbon tails packing as opposed to packing of derivatives of fatty acids on graphite surface.

Tarun E. I., Adzerikho I. E., Metelitsa D. I. Summary: The effect of the radical HO. acceptors -- mannitol, dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO), dimethylformamide (DMF), ethanol, butanol, and octanol on the soya-bean urease inactivation has been studied in aqueous solutions at 46°C and under action of low-frequency ultrasound (US, 27 kHz, 60 W/cm2). DMSO, butanol and ethanol stopped completely the US-inactivation of urease in aqueous solution, whereas mannitol, DMF and octanol inhibited that at 46°C and under US-treatment of solution. The most effective protector of urease was ethanol, that eliminated the US-inactivation of urease and supported its thermoinactivation on a low permanent level. The data obtained prove the important role of active radicals in the urease US-inactivation (27 kHz, 60 W/cm2) at 46°C.
