Sorption of tetrachloromethane vapour by porous silicatin-phosphate. pp. 10--13
Summary: Variation of the Si/Sn molar ratio from 0.9:0.1 to 0.1:0.9 enabled the tetrachloromethane vapour adsorption-desorption perfomance of porous silica-tin-phosphates prepared by the coprecipitation of active silicic acid and tin tetrachloride to be examined. A variety of isotherms typical for microporous and mesoporous adsorbents was obtained by this preparative route. The Si/Sn molar ratio changing microporous texture into mesoporous one was fixed.
Summary: The high effective method of preparation of ashless active microporous carbon sorbents on the basis of organic sapropels has been elaborated. The sorption-structural characteristics of the obtained carbons have been studied. It has been shown that sorption capacity of active carbons rises from 0.062 up to 0.758 sm3/g, and specific surface rises from 90 up to 1000 m2/g depending on the methods of sapropel activation. The mechanism of sapropels activation has been considered and the scientific interpretation of proceeding processes has been given.

Summary: The influence of nature and concentration of lipophilic ionic additives, nature of plasticizer and concentration of background electrolyte on pH response is examined in detail. It is showed, that metalloporphyrins functioning via neutral carriers mechanism seem to be more preferable among all studied, because the optimization of membrane composition in this case is achieved by incorporating the lipophilic cationic additive, which suppresses the pH response in acid region. Membranes functioning via charged carriers mechanism (high selectivity is observed when anionic additive is incorporated into the membrane) exhibit strong pH response in wide pH region, that is why it is possible to carry out direct potentiometric measurements using such type of electrodes only in hardly buffered solutions.

Properties of trihalideacetate-selective electrodes on the basis of hexylic ester of p-trifluoroacetylbenzoic acid. pp. 33--36
Summary: The film trihalideacetate-selective electrodes with using hexyl-(p-trifluoroacetyl)benzoate as a solvation addition have been elaborated. Such analytical characteristics of these electrodes as limits of sensibility, linearity and slopes of graduating curves and potentiometric selectivity have been studied. It has been established that modified membranes are more selective to trihalideacetate-anions in the presence of hydrophobic anions in comparison with non-modified membrane.
Summary: Kinetics of hydroxocomplex formation in nitric solutions contained Cr3+-- Cu2+, Cr3+ -- Zn2+ -- ions has been studied, and activation energies of this process have been calculated. It was shown, that the hydroxocomplexes are nonstable. The dominating influence of Cr3+-ions opon the process of the joint hydrolysis has been substantiated.

Regularities of extraction of glutamic acid and valine by liquid sulfocationite. pp. 52--56
Summary: Regularities of extraction of glutamic acid (Glu) and valine (Val) by 0.1 M solution of dinonyl naphtalene sulfonic acid in n-heptane have been compared. It has been shown that extraction of Val is substantially higher than that of Glu, which evidences importance of the hydrophobic interaction effect in the extraction. In the both cases extraction values have a maximum when the amino acid molecules are present both in cationic and zwitterionic forms. The significant parts of the both amino acids are extracted in the form of bipolar ions. Extraction of the both amino acids causes rearrangement of micelles of the liquid ion exchanger.

Influence of 2'-5' oligoadenilates on amilolithic hydrolysis of starch of couching wheat. pp. 77--80
Summary: 2'-5'Oligoadenilates slows down the starch ammolithic hydrolysis of couching wheat "Nadjeja". The increase of glucose maintenance and accumulation of starch were observed. The oligonucleotides in the concentration 10-7 M increases the b-amylase activity and decreases the a-amylase one developing the strong effect similar to that of abscisic acid. The same in the concentration 10-10 M results in the small opposite effect promoting weak gibberellinlike activity.

Inhibition of peroxidase oxidation of iodide by poly (tri-disulfide-4,4'-dioxydiphenyl sulfone). pp. 81--86
Summary: Inhibition kinetics of ion I- oxidation by hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by horseradish peroxidase in the presence of poly(3-disulfide-4,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone) (poly(DSHPS)) has been studied at 25°C in 0.05 M acetate buffer, pH 5.2, containing 2% DMFA. An inhibition of mixed type is characterized by the inhibition constant Ki Equaled to 4.0 µM at 25°C. Poly(DSHPS) and ion I interact with different sites of peroxidase and complete for its active intermediate Compound I. Peroxidase-catalyzed iodide oxidation occurs by two-electron mechanism but the radical stages of a process can not be fully excluded.
Summary: It has been stated that while treating peat humic acids (HA) in a moist state with the flow of electrons one can observe along with an absorbed dose an increase of averaged molecular masses, high-molecular fractions share, decrease of low-molecular constituent share and insignificant reduction of samples poly-dispersion ability, thus testifying to the polymerization processes run. By the ESR-spectroscopy method it has been shown that peat HA radiation modification is accompanied by the formation of new structures of polyconjugation.

Anion exchangers on the basis of chlorinecontaining synthetic fibers. pp. 92--96
Summary: The interaction of polychlorovinylic fibers of different types with organic polyamines (diethylenetriamine, ethylenediamine, polyethylenepolyamine) has been studied at the temperature 20--95°C in the absence and presence of solvents (water, ethyl alcohol, dioxan). It has been shown that choosing interaction conditions enables the products ratio of amination and dehydrochiorination reactions on polymeric fibers to be regulated in order to prepare anion exchangers which unite high exchange capacity (up to 4.0 mmol/g) and possible processing into unwoven filter material. Expedience of the two-step synthesis (preliminary treatment of polyvinylchloride by polyamine at 20--30°C followed by amination at 60-95 °C) has been shown.
