In the textbook prepared in the K.Krapiva Institute of Study of Arts, Ethnography and Folklore, the basic questions of formation of human as biological species and social creature during his adaptation to changing environmental conditions are covered, the racial structure of the modern peoples of the world in light of a history of their formation is characterized. The description of the basic methods of anthropologic investigation of the modern and ancient population assumes their wider application by the biologists and physicians at study of variability sex-age, ethnoterritorial, professional groups.
Such manual is issued in Belarus for the first time and has not analogues in CIS and other countries. The extensive items of information on laws of occurrence, formation, variability in time and space of the human as biological species and social creature are systematized in the book. The special attention is given to adaptive processes in ancient and modern human populations. The questions of biorhythmology, biological consequences of radioactive pollution of environment are also covered. The book is recommended to the students of high schools of the biological, medical, historical profile, experts in area valeology and physical education, teachers of average and special schools.
