A certain kind of realizing the scientific activities results of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus' scientists and specialists is the scientific and popular scientific literature publication both in the Republic of Belarus and abroad. In 2004, the Academy scientists have published 468 titles of books, including 158 monographs of total edition equal to 81,960 volumes, and also 6,520 scientific papers and preprints. The Academy's Publishing House "Belaruskaya Navuka" in 2004 has published 55 titles of books of total edition equal to 57,700 volumes and about 30 titles of journals and magazines of total edition equal to 5,757 issues. Nowadays, there over 20 scientific journals and some bulletins listed below are published by the NAS of Belarus. The main of the journals are the official ones -- "Doklady Natsionalnoi Akademii Nauk Belarusi" (Reports of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus) and "Vestsi Natsiyanalnai Akademii Navuk Belarusi" (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus). The scientific works the NAS of Belarus scientists are published in such world-wide known scientific publishing houses as Academic Press, Cambridge University Press, Springer-Verlag, Nauka Publishing Company, The Parthenon Publishing Group, etc. Accordingly to the Belarusian legislation, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus has the right to exchange the printed editions with scientific and higher educational institutions, libraries and museums of the Republic of Belarus, and also abroad.
