In the book prepared in the Institute of Biochemistry of NAS of Belarus, the fundamental aspects of stress reaction development are considered. At cell (histology -- light-optical investigation), subcell (ultrastructure -- electron-microscopical investigation) and molecular (enzymology -- biochemical investigation) levels the morphobiology of adrenal glands cortex during stress is investigated. The biochemical script of a functional (vital) cycle of corticocyte is offered at stress with decoding of molecular mechanisms of cell transmutations. The book is intended for the biochemists, morphologists, physiologists and physicians.
