The monograph prepared in the K.Krapiva Institute of Study of Arts, Ethnography and Folklore of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, is devoted to the historical analysis of the Belarusian architecture during the millenium as part of the process of residing environment formation. The native streets under a coverlet which whispers old legends, paternal farmstead, court, square with shops, school on a hill, not far are visible the church cupolas and spire of Roman-Catholic church, castle's silhouette as a ghost figure -- here a cradle of eternal life.
