The monograph co-authored by Siberian and Belarusian scientists elucidates the issue of the Belarusians participation in the pioneering of Siberia in a vast chronological panorama. The researchers' attention is focused on concrete family histories from generation to generation, starting with the legendary times of the Yermak campaign until today. These histories reflect the process of movement of the Slavic populations into Siberia. The book shows a large-scaled historical process resulting in the formation of the current demographic, technical, and economic potentials of Siberia. The book is addressed to a wide reading audience both in Siberia and Belarus.
