The book covers methodical approaches and the results of evaluation of heavy metals emission factors from the main industrial sources of heavy metals emissions typical to the CIS countries. On the basis of experimental and analytical studies and engineering calculations factors for 18 emission source categories have been obtained. Calculated values of specific emissions allow one to specify and replenish Atmospheric Emission Inventory Guidebook EMEP/CORINAIR with respect to the conditions of the CIS countries in the part dealing with heavy metals. The results have been approved at heavy metals emission inventory for the Republic of Belarus.
