Doctor of Biological Sciences (since 1980), Professor.
Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Elected in 1994 on speciality Plant Ecology.

Member of the Scientific Doctorate degree defence councils of the Institute of Experimental Botany and Institute of Radiobiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and of the Belarusian Scientific-Research Institute for Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry,
Member of the Co-ordinating board for project and control of fulfillment of the science section of the State Program for overcoming the consequences of the Chernobyl accident.
