Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Elected in 1986 on speciality Genetics and Breeding of Agricultural Animals.

Member of the two science degree defence councils: the Belarusian Science Research Institute of cattle-breeding, the Belarusian Institute of radiation security.
