Doctor of Chemical Sciences (since 1987), Professor.
Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Elected in 2000 on speciality Organic Chemistry.

Full Member (Academician) of the International Academy of Organizational and Managerial Sciences,
Vice-chairman of the Expert council for chemistry of the Belarusian Highest Certifying Commission,
Member of the Committee for State Prizes of the Republic of Belarus,
Member of the two Scientific Doctorate Degree Councils,
Member of the Council for Fundamental Research Coordination.

Associate Editor-in-Chief of the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (Series of Chemical Sciences),

Chemistry of prostaglandins, steroids, other natural compounds and their biological active analogs, methods of fine organic synthesis, chemistry of diketones, heterocyclic compounds.
