To solve these tasks, the councils of young scientific are created in the Academy and its scientific organizations. Their main purposes are: to promote professional growth of young scientists and its active participation in fundamental and applied research; to participate in solving the questions concerning social security of youth and its housing problems; to present the interests of scientific youth in the NASB Presidium and its Bureau, General Meeting of NAS of Belarus, other Academy's bodies, and also in state bodies, non-governmental organizations and mass media; to promote the edition of materials of conferences, schools and seminars of young scientists, other scientific and popular scientific works of the young scientists; to develop the international scientific and cultural relations with participation of the young scientists, etc.
The Council of Young Scientists of NAS of Belarus is a permanent public body working at NASB Presidium. This council heads system of councils of young scientific in the Academy and coordinates their activities.
